The request was to generate interest and to provoke the call to action with a minimal amount of copy. The intended reader has a latent desire to work from home. The strategy is to peak curiosity. Rather than put forth facts, the ad offers a “perk,” not a genuine benefit, of working from home. The meanings of “perk” and “coffee” are meant to interact playfully and encourage the reader to click through.
